Totally confidential care. The treatment program is carried out in the Clinical Unit of the PAIMM, located in a private hospital in Barcelona the identity of which, for reasons of confidentiality, cannot be revealed, and whose location is communicated to the patients only on initiating treatment. Likewise, to guarantee the total confidentiality of patients, they are identified by means of a fictitious name.

The Clinical Unit occupies an area reserved for the exclusive use of the PAIMM and it is organized in various sections: hospitalization, day hospital and ambulatory treatments.

Making one's stay easier. The hospitalization area, although it does form part of a hospitable area, is equipped so that one's stay is as pleasant and relaxed as possible. It has 13 single rooms with bath, television and video, and a desk. It also has a dining room, and a lounge with a music centre, television set, magazines and daily newspapers. In addition, a work room has been fitted out with computers with Internet access.
In those cases in which the sick physician fulfils admission criteria, the knowledge and understanding of the Norms of Hospitalization of the PAIMM will contribute to obtaining a suitable level of adaptation, and will, therefore, be a factor that will enhance the therapeutic process.

Complementary services. Those patients who so wish can access all the other services and facilities - not on the PAIMM floor - that the centre offers. Some of these services, such as the gymnasium with its fitness equipment, are free while others, such as the hairdressing, chiropody and massage services, must be paid for.
